Got questions?

What's the difference between a checking account and credit card?

A checking account is where you keep money for daily transactions like paying bills or withdrawing cash. You can use a debit card linked to your checking account to make purchases. If you get paid from an employer, most people will set up direct deposit so your salary or wages are paid into a checking account.

A credit card can also be used to make purchases. However, it typically has added benefits such as cashback or rewards as a percentage of your transaction spending, purchase protection and helps with building a credit score.

Which account is right for me?

You can choose to open a checking account (with debit card), or a credit card or both. We recommend opening both an Adro checking account and credit card.

What's the difference between Adro personal and business accounts?

Personal accounts are designed for individual use, such as managing your income, expenses and savings.

Business accounts are created specifically for businesses to manage their finances. If you own a business (which includes freelancers, contract workers, startups, entrepreneurs, etc.), you'll need to keep that money and any transactions separate from your personal accounts. Learn more
