FAQs

Who can sign up?

Adro is designed for rapidly growing companies based outside the US that frequently earn, hold and spend US dollars (USD).

Adro offers higher transaction limits, lower fees and helps business owners in China maintain account access while staying compliant with US banking regulations.

We’ve made setting up a US business account from China easy to do with our online platform. You can quickly open an account, access US account details (including ACH routing number) and integrate Adro into your day-to-day operations.

What do I need to open an account?

To open an account, you'll need:

- Your passport and selfie
- Business address
- EIN (Employer Identification Number), similar to Unified Social Credit Identifier
- Articles of Incorporation (also known as Articles of Association in China)
- List of business shareholders and/or directors

How long does it take to sign up?

If your business is already registered in the US and you have an EIN, then signing up for an Adro Business account can be done in a few minutes. The document verification step takes about one business day. We’ll notify you once it’s done or if we need anything else, so keep an eye on your email.

How do I add money to my account?

You can add money to your account through ACH transfer or wire transfer. If you move money from a bank in China, funds will be converted from Chinese yuan to US dollars.

Where can I use my Adro card?

You can use your Adro card at ATMs and card machines (POS) within or outside the US. You should be able to use your card at most local ATMs in China.

You can also use Adro cards for online transactions and e-commerce purchases.

What is a business checking account?

A business checking account allows companies to deposit and withdraw funds, make payments, and manage day-to-day transactions. Accounts often come with features tailored to business needs, such as employee debit cards, integration with accounting software and higher transaction limits. It is similar to a basic deposit account in China.
