AdroCard Cashback Rewards Terms and Conditions
Last updated: Nov 1, 2024
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Cashback Rewards Program (the “Cashback Program”) and that is part of the AdroCard Account (“Card Account”). The AdroCard Rewards Program is offered by AdroCard, Inc. (“AdroCard”) and is subject to these Terms.
These Terms supplement your Card Agreement with Stearns Bank (“Bank”) and together constitute the entire agreement. Use of your Card Account constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.
All capitalized terms are defined somewhere in these Terms, or if not here, in the Card Agreement that is incorporated by reference. For purposes of these Terms, the pronouns “you” and “your” are intended to mean the cardholder, including any joint cardholder. The pronouns “we” “us” and “our” mean AdroCard.
Cashback Program
1. What are AdroCard Cashback Rewards?
The Cashback Program offers a cashback reward (“CashbackReward(s)”) based on certain types of Qualifying Transactions made with your Card.
2. How can I earn Cashback Rewards?
To be eligible to earn Cashback Rewards via the Cashback Program, you must have an active AdroCard Mastercard® Credit Card and maintain your Card Account in good standing in accordance with the terms of your Card Agreement.
3. What are Qualifying Transactions and how is Cashback earned?
Earn 1% Cashback Rewards for every AdroCard Mastercard Credit Card purchase for eligible purchases of goods and services for personal, family and household purposes using your Card Account, minus any returns, refunds or credit adjustments (“Qualifying Transactions”).
Qualifying Transactions exclude ATM withdrawals, peer-to-peer payments(such as, by way of example, Apple Pay Cash or Google Pay), currency exchange service providers, debit card cash advances, tax payments, person-to-person transfers, the purchase of gift cards and the purchase of money orders or other cash equivalents, Gold transactions, International Payments, Cross BorderPayments even if used to purchase goods or services.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to grant Cashback Rewards via the Program even if you did not make a Qualifying Transaction.
4. When can I start earning Cashback Rewards?
You begin earning Cashback Rewards when you open a Card Account, activate your Card, and begin making Qualifying Transactions.
5. Is there any limit to the amount of Cashback Rewards I can earn?
As long your Card Account is open and in good standing and you continue to meet the other requirements for eligibility stated above, you will earn the applicable Cashback Rewards as shown in Question 3 above.
Cashback Rewards paid in previous months may be reversed through a corresponding debit to your Card Account or through a reduction in the current month’s benefit if a transaction on which a cashback payment was paid is reversed through a merchant credit.
6. How do I know how many Cashback Rewards I have earned?
The Cashback Rewards you have earned will be shown when you login to your AdroCard account online. This will show your monthly Cashback Rewards earned and deposited to your Card account.
7. When are my Cashback Rewards available to me?
Cashback Rewards will generally be made available 10 Business Days after the month in which each Qualifying Transaction is posted to your Card Account where the amount of Cashback Rewards earned from Qualifying Transactions equals or exceeds $25. Pending transactions do not earn Cashback Rewards.
8. How do I receive my Cashback Rewards?
As long as your Card Account is open and in good standing and you are not in violation of the Card Agreement, after the Cashback Rewards have been made available as described in Question 7 above, the amounts earned will be reflected in your Card Account balance.
9. What If I Believe there has been an Error Related to my Cashback Rewards?
It is your responsibility to notify AdroCard in the event you believe there is an error with your Cashback Rewards. If your Cashback Rewards have not posted correctly or for further details, please contact Customer Service at Support@joinadro.com
10. Are Cashback Rewards taxable?
You understand that you are responsible for determining and obtaining appropriate tax treatment for any Cashback Rewards you redeem and you are solely responsible for any tax liability arising from or related to any earned Cashback Rewards. We will not report any income or earnings related to Cashback Rewards to a taxing authority, except where expressly required by law.
11. What happens to my Cashback Rewards if my Card Account is no longer in good standing?
If your Card account is not in good standing (for example, if your Card Account is overdrawn) or you are otherwise in violation of the Card Agreement, we reserve the right to apply the value of your Cashback Rewards to offset any outstanding overdraft in your Card Account.
12. What happens if my account is closed, suspended or in bad standing?
If your Card account is not in good standing (for example, if your Card Account is overdrawn), if your account is closed or suspended, or you are otherwise in violation of the Card Agreement, you forfeit all your unused rewards. Additionally, we reserve the right to apply the value of your Cashback Rewards to offset any outstanding overdraft in your Card Account.
13. Are the bonuses described in this section taxable?
You understand that you are responsible for determining and obtaining appropriate tax treatment for any bonus payments you receive under the Cashback Rewards Program and you are solely responsible for any tax liability arising from or related to any earned bonuses. We will not report any income or earnings related to bonuses to a taxing authority, except where expressly required by law. AdroCard may, however, issue you an IRS Form 1099-MISC, or other appropriate forms reporting the value of the bonuses described above.
General Terms Applicable to the AdroCard Rewards Program
1. What happens in the event of suspected fraud or misuse of the AdroCard Rewards Program?
In our sole discretion, we may prohibit you from earning Cashback Rewards, any bonus payments you receive under the Cashback Rewards Program, or using Cashback Rewards or bonuses you have already earned if:
- we suspect that you have engaged in fraudulent activity related to your Card Account or the AdroCard Rewards Program; or

This could include, for example, but not be limited to, small dollar transactions conducted on the same day at a single merchant (or multiple transactions in a short period of time). Abuse of the AdroCard Rewards Program may result in the Card Account being suspended or closed. If we close your Card Account, we will automatically credit any unposted Cashback Rewards or bonuses to your Card Account.
Finally, we reserve the right to forfeit your Cashback Rewards or bonuses if you close your Card Account.
2. What law governs these Terms?

AdroCard may update these Terms with or without notice to you by posting an updated version of these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the AdroCard Rewards Program after any change constitutes your agreement to be bound by any such changes. You may participate in the AdroCard Rewards Program only if you accept all of these Terms. If you no longer wish to participate in the AdroCard Rewards Program, you must close your Card Account.
